Unable to duplicate. It works just fine. Verify you are correctly identifying the button name. Make sure there is nothing else changing its state.

Do you have a DHCP server on the same network? pootp is an older form of DHCP and I have seen conflict in such cases that the DHCP will send illegal netmask values... as the value you are reporting back is.

If not, perhaps your best option is to call tech support.

The developer has been working on a new version but gets redirected to other projects as priorities change. Its this juggling of priorities that causes the delay in what all of us are waiting for.

First) Try this BootPS application
ftp://ftp.zephyr.com/pub/Axia/Tools/bootps.exe

Second) Iprobe will not see the device. Iprobe uses the advertisement multicast group to discover devices which the panel does not use.

The NET led will go on when an active TCP connection is established.

what is the netmask in which you are finding the button panel to be stuck on? It doesn't need to tbe the same as other gear, it simply needs to be an appropriate mask to work for your network. 255.0.0.0 netmask is a wise open mask where 255.255.255.0 is a smaller mask. This device will not be added ...

Configure GPIO for ON AIR LIGHT

To configure a GPIO port to provide a closure which will trigger the ON AIR light, one can reference he Element manual and look at the chapter that covers GPIO. There you will find some tables. Look for the table that is for the Control Room (CR) monitor logic. In this table you will observe that OU...

Make sure both machines have the same time and set to the same time zone. Pathfinder Server application uses time stamps with files to update and if both machines are not on the same time, this can cause trouble with synchronization and lead to other problems.

It has only been lightly discussed. I don't think it is considered a priority at this time.

There is no function in iProfiler to trigger a GPIO. This idea has come up previously and the developer has been notified in the past. I will remind him.

There is no protocol. Meaning there is no command. If there was a command, then pathfinder could do it.

There is no protocol for changing what is selected on the monitor section. The monitor selection was designed to be a control interface for an operator, and thus it was not considered to create a protocol for remote control of those user interfaces. The only option you have is to change a source pro...

Same challenges with implementing Livewire on a WAN apply here. The ipCom portfolio of products use Livewire clocking and Audio streams. There is a new method of control communication that may also be impacted by the WAN network.
