An error is expected on boot as services start and depend on other services that haven't started yet.

As for delayed response in XP boot. This is the first I have heard of such a situation due to IP driver install.

Show Profile button can not be locked. If you are concerned about having students change the shows, you can consider only making one show profile or each profile is locked down so that they really don't have many options with any of the show profiles.

Mitch:

I'm out of the office for the week, but my first thought is to run the applications as administrator. Right click the application and select run as Admin and see if that helps.

Compressor and De-esser configuration in the Element?

Audio processing is subjective, at least I think so. :) So maybe you should consult with someone that knows how audio should sound and knows how to achieve it. If you don't have access to such a person, perhaps you can start with the following to get started. For the Expander, turn on room noises li...

Managed switches

I would say it is more about a managed switch than just having a Cisco switch. The managed switch will provide IGMP querier functionality. This will manage multicast groups as they come from each device. In the unmanaged switch environment, the switch doesn't know what to do with the address that is...

Profanity Delay control

The standard Element control/navigation modules has 4 "Profanity Delay" buttons. These are designed to be *mapped* to a GPIO port. In order to do this, follow these simple steps. (1) From each Show Profile configuration page, you will select the monitor section link. (2) The following page there wil...

Bob: There is no config option to enable/disable the front meters. They should always be active. If you press the Select button, does the display change through the various display screens? If not, likely the display has gone south. Best to send an email to Support(at)AxiaAudio.com or call them 216....

Yes, this is perfectly acceptable. Standard IP address rules apply, the same that apply to the business network full of computers. An IP address in general terms breaks down to a network address and a device address. A Class-C network is 192.168.2.x (mask:255.255.255.0), which means the network addr...

Perhaps it is the PC then. The question is why are the multicast groups not appearing on the network. Do you have any duplicate Livewire channel numbers?

Is the 2960 configured as we suggest? What are the SYNC and MASTER lights doing on all nodes you have? Any blinking would not be good. YOu should have one node in your system that indicates MASTER and the rest should only show a solid SYNC. If not, I would suspect switch configuration issue.

When the stream is silent and present on the network, you will see the two dots. The two dots indicate that the stream is good. If you are not getting the two dots, this indicates the node is not receiving the stream or that there is a problem with that multicast group. This indicates that the PC is...

I should also offer that if your hardware is older, there is an upgrade option, but it is best to call the Telos support staff for more information on that.

To my understanding, a 0 setting has resolved some issues. Some engineers are looking into related issue at the moment and expect some results in the next few weeks. My best suggestion to you is to use a port monitor that allows you to monitor the string of text coming in to verify it is coming in a...
