Sorry for the delay, I've been delayed as well as having tech problems with the video. I've uploaded a version but the compression applied by youTube made all the text nonReadable... I also had a version refused because it was too long... I'm still working on it... the 4th button is possible as well...

2.5.0.8 is not a released version at this time. I would suggest using the current released version 2.4.8.12 which can be found from our website. The beta version you have provides built in ASIO functionality which you are not using. Please use the current released version.
Andy: With little experience with Pathfinder, the task may be a little overwhelming, and for this reason I'm inclined to spend sometime to create a little video to show how I accomplished the task. I will need some time tomorrow to create this and then I will be able to post it. The basics: You want...
Andy: Do you want to use VMIX or do routes? Using VMIX introduces some Gotcha conditions. What if someone left the studio in ON AIR state. In some cases this can be useful, allowing multiple studios at one time to go to the Airchain... but this can also be dangerous. If only one studio should feed t...
An interesting question was brought up by a customer where they had a need to skim with iProfiler when voice tracks were played from a playout device. Sure the playout device has the audio, but a record of when that audio was played and what was stated? So the questions and discussion that followed ...
A customer asked about the possibility to use his 5 button film caps acc module located on his Element as a router controller for three recording devices. He wanted to be able to select which recording device and then select the 1 of 4 sources to record. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=72TX1xwX4IY) ...
It is going to stretch out the images. The VGA out from the Element is set for 4:3 screen. Depending on how your screen decides to deal with the image. I've seen a smaller wide screen used and it makes it look stretched. It looks odd to someone who is accustomed to seeing the Element 4:3 output. I'v...
I've been challenged with a tech issue for a little while... and that was how to create a serial port on a NexGen PC. NexGen, as far as I know, will only interface with a serial port. I have a NexGen macro (a serial port command) that sends text and I have Pathfinder setup with a "Generic Translator...
So are you saying that Pathfinder could switch the 4th GPO in this port? Its a pity the NX-12 doesn't support IP-GPIOs. I guess I'd have to connect the GPIO port of the NX12 to a nearby Axia GPIO port, then use that input to trigger another GPO! Yes, Pathfinder can do this. (trigger 4th GPO) Yes, i...
The Nx12 user manual is located: http://www.telos-systems.com/support/manuals/Nx12%20Manual%20Book%201-6.pdf Looking through it, one would find in section 2.10, on page 22, Parallel GPIO Remote Control. Here it identifies pins that will trigger if any line is ringing or Priority Ringing. At the end ...
In Regards to the subject of this topic, same port for different functions. When you assign a port to a channel number, all pins will follow the designated function as defined by the various tables in Chapter-3 of the Element manual (which can be found at http://www.axiaaudio.com/manuals/default.htm...
The best method to create a closure to trigger that there is a live mic ON in a studio is to configure a port for CR monitor ( http://www.axiaaudio.com/manuals/files/AppNote-OnAirLight_08092007.pdf ). This will trigger the first GPO. From the chart in Chapter-3 of the Element manual, it can be noted...
