That looks a nice piece of kit Richard, especially with its native support for Livewire, but it also looks quite pricey compared with the solution we currently use, which is simply to run standard Skype clients on a PC with the audio and clean feed taken through the PC audio drivers just like any ot...

A simple cheap fix for this, which maybe should have been included in the original design, is an NTC inrush limiter - a small cheap component that has a high resistance at room temp, but warms up (not to much!) rapidly under steady load and drops very little power in the steady state.
