Is there a means of identifying the hardware in use without popping the engines open?

Clarifying the question: The desginations in the the hardware section of the engine. Pentium 4 is obviously the Intel board. Assuming the other designation to look for is Core Solo?

Thanks

Also suggest verifying that "Keep channel active when playback is stopped" is checked off in the IP driver control panel below the sources listing.

Any word on the ability to record via ASIO @ 44.1 in the final build, or will the ASIO4ALL device be required? Just tried it with 2.5.2.3 with no luck.

A majority of our third parties & remote submission systems are fixed at 44.1 so it just simplfies life greatly.

Thanks!

I have been testing it on & off with our Dalet network with limited success. Essentially I configure Mediaserver to run as a soundblaster & route audio accordingly for a single audio stream. Still having problems with Mediaserver configuring for the multichannel audio. It works, just there have been...

Just to follow up on the above 1st point: If you do not want to venture into installing a router to bridge your Axia & office networks - I would just run additional ethernet lines from your Axia switch to the stations requiring audio & drop in a 2nd NIC with an IP driver. Quite often this is restric...

Worst case scenario - if you have a workstation running on the same network with access to the internet. Gateway on one NIC & Axia on a separate NIC is usually the simplest solution to avoid headaches. You can configure a WinXP box to run as an NTP server & sync to internet, but a simpler solution i...

Will the individual components be hot swappable in case of a failure?

ie AES / analog / mic inputs on separate boards that can be replaced on site or would the entire chasis have to be replaced?

Let me clarify - engine 2.4.8w3 has been marked as not recommended for the SmartSurface. Should 2.4.7e2 simply be deployed or is there an older version better suited for compatibility with this console since there has been no developments since Nov 2006?
