At the moment Pathfinder can only control microphone gain through the meters in the client, and not through stack events or panel designer - yet. Stay tuned though because it may be coming soon. However, what you could do (if you have Pathfinder Pro), would be to run it through a pair of VMIX faders...

Jon, The easiest way to do this is with a stack event. Set the qualifier to be a GPI on the desired port and pin and set it for low. Set the Action if qualifiers are met to be the route to EAS, and the Action if qualifiers not met to be the route back to the usual source. This will not cause an endl...

The first question is whether the remote computer can start the connection. Pathfinder Server acts as a server for TCP connections. So it is open and listening on a TCP port. But the remote machine/s have to connect to Pathfinder Server and not the other way around. Once the connection is establishe...

Obviously the safest bet is to install it on a dedicated machine. However, the answer to this question really depends on what you are using PathfinderPCServer for. We have customers that are using it for just some basic routing, and then we have customers that have massive scripts and huge aspects o...

Not entirely true. The connection limit is related to MS services only, like IIS, File and Printer sharing, named pipes, etc. The restriction doesn't apply to normal TCP incoming connections. While we have learned that Oleg is correct about this. XP does allow more than 10 incoming TCP connections ...

Silence Detect
cmac, Please contact tech supprt at support<AT>axiaaudio.com or at the support phone number to help you work through this. Specifically, we need to know what kind of source/destination you are trying to monitor. Not all devices fully support silence detection yet, and that may be the problem you are...

This is a superb question. The good news is that the upgrade procedure does not delete any of the stack events, router databases, events databases, etc. Also the procedure is simple and I have not had a single client lose their information yet by doing an upgrade. Having said that I have been around...

Andrew, This can certainly be done with some creative stack events. However, I believe we also created a custom set of stack events and scripts which were very similar to what you are trying to do here, and would probably be able to be modified slightly to accomplish your goal more elegantly. Feel f...

PathfinderPC Mini is an application that is included with the PathfinderPC product. With the Pathfinder product you can create custom user panels using a tool called panel designer. These panels consist of buttons, labels, and graphics. The controls on these panels can then interact with the server ...

While the minimum specifications are listed in the manual, I recommend using a 2.4 Ghz or greater PC with 1 Gig of Ram and Windows Server 2003 for the Pathfinder Server. These days you are not going to be able to get much smaller than a 40 Gig hard drive which is plenty. PathfinderPC Server generall...
