The Axia IP-Audio Driver requires a reliable network interface card (NIC) to operate correctly. If Ethernet receive errors and dropped packets are experienced, this will result in audio discontinuities and unwanted audio anomalies. The majority of newer NIC adapters has the capability necessary for use with Livewire but may require some comprehensive modifications to the driver settings in order to operate correctly on a Livewire network. There is a document posted in the support section of the website that walks through how to self qualify your own NIC for use with Livewire. Be sure to see that document for more information.
This forum post is intended to be a comprehensive list of NIC cards that have been reported to work from customers and our engineering support staff. Please feel free to comment and add to it as you see fit.
