Vista? Windows7?

Will iProfiler work with Vista or Windows7? Is there a way to make it work? Will iProfiler eventually work with these OS?

iProfiler uses the IP driver and there is a new version of IP driver that works better for the OS you mentioned. In order for iProfiler to take advantage of this improved IP driver, it needs to be recompiled with the newer version of IP driver. This of course is in our interest to do and will be done once the resource of time is available. As we should all know also that the Vista/Win7 OS has introduced new caveats of security and operating procedures for programs. So to do this correctly requires rewriting the application to function under the new rules. As was explained in the Pathfinder post, there are work around options to allow the application to function.

IProfiler Client on a Win7 machine no audio.

Post by Mitchinator »

I just installed the Iprofiler on Vista and Win7 machine with no problems. The Live Player will play audio but the Archive Player will not play audio.

Is there a work around for this or just hold off for new code.

Mitch:

I'm out of the office for the week, but my first thought is to run the applications as administrator. Right click the application and select run as Admin and see if that helps.

The developer has been working on a new version but gets redirected to other projects as priorities change. Its this juggling of priorities that causes the delay in what all of us are waiting for.
