Priority take

Post by MattT »

Hi,

we are currently programming pathfinder for our radio station. One of the features on our current SAS system is the ability to "priority take". This feature allows us to switch a number of routes at any point in the case of evacuation/disaster - we use a GPIO evacuation button to enable this. When "priority take" is released the previous routes are restored to the last known state or if routes have been automated while a "priority take" is in place the system will restore to the new automated routes. One of the thoughts I had to achieve this is to write the current routes into memory slots when the button is pushed - the system would then switch routes to the evacuation mode - we would then read back the previous routes from the memory slots when the button is released. unfortunately this will not work as it doesn't allow for any automation which happens while the evacuation routes are in place. Any thoughts on this please?

thanks Matt
