Hello Axians,
We've got a new software version for all Audio Nodes (except GPIO - no audio there )
This software is version v2.3.3b1 rX, and applies to the AES, Analog, Router Selector and Mic Nodes. This release addresses possible heat-related audio artifacts.
You can get the update files directly from www.AxiaAudio.com/downloads/ .

This release addresses possible heat-related audio artifacts
Hello Clark,
could you please give more tech details about that? I did not find anything in that regard in release notes to the new software.
I remember we had a problem with Microphone node (audio dropouts which happened very-very seldom, maybe once or twice per day - audio from mike was lost for a couple of seconds). This problem was gone after we put a fan in the rack with Mic node. This fan provided very slow air flow, but seems it was useful.

New Node Firmware
Hello Nick,
We found a timing problem deep in our logic that might show up in some nodes at temperature extremes. Your symptom sounds like it might just be related to this problem. The vast majority of clients will never have this problem, but we do recommend everyone should update to this new firmware, even if they have never had any symptoms.
Best regards,
Mike Dosch
