telnet session error 1000

Post by willem »

good morning,

i've got some trouble controlling the audio nodes trough a telnet session.
the connection to the node works, i can read the signals send by the pathfinder pc controller, but i can't duplicate them.

for example:

node: 192.168.2.8 (an axia 8x8 AES)
in pathfinder I set out 1 to source 1 (local loopback)
telnet response: DST 1 ADDR:"239.192.0.1 <SRC 1>"
now i set the out1 to nothing
telnet response: DST 1 ADDR:""

now i type the following in the telnet session:
(first i set the out 1 to source 1)
DST 1 ADDR:""
this should reset my output to clear.
the telnet response: ERROR 1000 bad command

reading the manual (DAD control of axia) this stated the same commands.
i just cant get it to work.
any bright ideas?

grz.

Willem,
Try sending LOGIN with a carriage return/line feed first (must be uppercase). No username or password. The node will not allow you to sending commands that change anything until you login. The node will not respond after sending that command, but it should then accept change commands.
