Axia GPIO Protocol (CMsg2)

Post by mhabegger »

Hello,
Is there anywhere a documentation available about the protocole used for GPIO ?
Only thing found :
2060 UDP Multicast based GPIO (CMsg2 protocol) (mcast on 239.192.255.4)

Anything about CMsg2 Protocol ?

Thanks in Advance

I don't believe there is a document available. What is it that you are looking for?

Since everything is sent over the network. It would be much easier to be able to catch the GPIO directly instead of connecting to a GPIO node which is limited to 8 very specific signals.

application?

Delivery system?

The CMsg2 protocol is not available. Delivery systems/automation systems have already taken advantage of using network access for logic control. Some partner products also have this integrated.
