Recommended Network card

Post by MattT »

Axia recommended PCIe network card Intel Pro/1000 CT seems to be un available (possibly discontinued?) in NZ. Can you please recommend another Livewire compatible PCIe network card for desktops and also a dual PCIe Network card for Pathfinder servers,

thanks

Most modern day network interfaces work today. When Livewire was first introduced it was on the "bleeding" edge of what consumer products could do. Our list of interfaces became obsolete as we spent our Engineering resources on product and no longer "proving" AoIP was a reality. Some years ago there was a document that instructed customers on how to self verify an interface. This is much faster since what is available from one location to another can be different. I'm trying to locate said document.

Thanks for the info! Just to update this, we are using Intel I350-T2 and I350-T4. They seem to be doing the jobs nicely.
