Hello,
this might seem like a very basic or naive question, but we are wondering on how to make use of the GPIO Signals that the iQ console sends to the PC (for playout system faderstarts etc.) ? I trust that these signals are sent over the Network/Audio cable that connects the Axia Core and the Playout PC?
Thanks for your help,
Georges

OK good to know.
So then - the physical GPIO port on the back of the Core is disabled whenever that GPIO signal is carried over IP?
How can I test if the signal from the Core is received by the PC? I'm able to telnet into the core and check the GPI/O status, but I don't know how to make sure that my Playout PC sees the GPO signal. I did check the GPIO Control Surface Bridge Checkbox...
Thanks very much,
Georges

Telnet to the IP driver, port 93. If using the same PC that ip driver is installed, you can use the loopback address.
telnet 127.0.0.1 93
Enter in the command for reporting GPO, all caps.
ADD GPO
You should get a response of the current GPO states. Press the ON/OFF buttons for the source, this should show changes in GPO state.
