Studio Monitor volume control?

Is there a handy way to place a control in the guest studio to control the volume of the studio monitors (fed from Monitor 2)? I thought we might be able to do this with a headphone selector panel, but no joy so far -- it seems to only link up with a "To source" feed, and only when that source is assigned to a channel on the Element.

Perhaps another way to attack the same problem -- is there a way to create a "To source" feed with a VMIX or VMode, since that would then be assignable to the selector panel?
