Smart surface unresponsive

One of our four Smart surfaces consoles has recently begun to show an intermittent fault where it becomes unresponsive to any kind of changes on the console. Also the indicators on the center of the console blink and some of the alphanumeric indicators are unintelligible.

Disconnecting the power from the power supply for a moment and reapplying clears the fault.

Does this sound like a console fault or a power supply fault?
