Element Feature Request: Full-Time Clock Display

It would be nice to have an Element clock visible to the operator at all times. In version 2.x, the only time you see a clock is when you’re at the top menu level. As soon as you go into any submenu, the clock goes away.

This might not be a big deal for facilities where the level of interaction with the Element is more of the ‘button pusher/jock’ style where you stay on the top level all the time. Here at MPR though, we do quite a bit of tweaking of EQ and dynamics on phoners, as well as a lot of on-the-fly source changes (we use ISDN a lot on-air). It can be dicey to make these kinds of changes near a hard time post.

There’s currently plenty of room in the lower right-hand corner pod when you’re in the menus. It would be nice to have a smaller clock appear down there, when you’re away from the top level. There's probably not enough room for an analog-style clock down there, but a digital one would fit easily.
