Controlling user button LEDs from GPIO port?

Post by Andy Linton »

Hi all, is it possible, without Pathfinder, to control (i.e. switch on and off) the LEDs in an Element film-cap switch panel from a GPIO node elsewhere on the network?

Thanks

Andy

In Element User Module link, the filmcaps can be defined as a User module (used with Pathfinder) or GPIO module (tied to LW channel logic), or GPIO snake (again tied to LW channel but used with a port such the GPIs make the buttons light and button press make tthe GPO trigger)

I see that Milos, but could you explain please how to map that to a port on a GPIO node?

Thanks

1) set filmcap to GPIO Snake, assign a unique number.
2) GPIO node, set to the same number.
